Job Description:
The Junior Assistant Scoutmaster serves in the capacity of
an Assistant Scoutmaster except where legal age and maturity are required. He
must be at least 16 years old and not yet 18. He is appointed by the Scoutmaster
because of his leadership ability.
Responsibilities:
- Functions as an Assistant Scoutmaster.
- Performs duties as assigned by the Scoutmaster.
- Sets a good example.
- Enthusiastically and correctly wears the Scout uniform.
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law.
- Shows Scout spirit.
 Job Description:
The Patrol Leader is appointed by the Scoutmaster.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and leads patrol meetings and activities.
- Keeps patrol members informed.
- Assigns each patrol member a specific duty.
- Represents his patrol at all patrol leaders' council meetings and the annual
program planning conference.
- Prepares the patrol to participate in all troop activities.
- Works with other troop leaders to make the troop run well.
- Knows the abilities of each patrol member.
- Sets a good example.
- Enthusiastically and correctly wears the Scout uniform.
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law.
- Shows Scout spirit.

Job Description:
The Assistant Patrol Leader is appointed by the Patrol
Leader in consultation with the Scout Master and leads the patrol in his absence.
Responsibilities:
- Helps the Patrol Leader plan and steer patrol meetings and activities.
- Helps him keep patrol members informed.
- Helps the patrol get ready for all troop activities.
- Represents his patrol at patrol leaders' council meetings when the Patrol
Leader cannot attend.
- Sets a good example.
- Enthusiastically and correctly wears the Scout uniform.
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law.
- Shows Scout spirit

Job Description:
The Webmaster is appointed by the Patrol
Leader in consultation with the Scout Master.
Responsibilities:
- Helps the Patrol Leader keep the patrol website current.
- Helps him keep patrol members informed.
- Posts information from the historian and scribe..
- Posts pictures taken of the troop..
- Sets a good example.
- Enthusiastically and correctly wears the Scout uniform.
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law.
- Shows Scout spirit

Job Description:
The Historian preserves troop photographs, news stories,
trophies, flags, scrapbooks, awards, and other memorabilia.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers pictures and facts about troop activities and keeps them in a
historical file or scrapbook.
- Provides information to the patrol Webmaster for timely posting on the website.
- Takes care of troop trophies, ribbons, and souvenirs of troop
activities.
- Keeps information about former members of the troop.
- Sets a good example.
- Enthusiastically and correctly wears the Scout uniform.
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law.
- Shows Scout spirit.

Job Description:
The Quartermaster keeps track of troop equipment and sees
that it is in good working order. He keeps records on patrol/troop equipment,
makes sure equipment is in good working condition, and issues equipment and
makes sure it is returned in good condition.

Job Description:
The Scribe is the record-keeping and financial officer of
the troop.
The Scribe keeps the troop records. He records the
activities of the patrol leaders' council and keeps a record of dues,
advancement, and Scout attendance at troop meetings. He attends the patrol
leaders' council but generally is not a voting member.
Responsibilities:
- Attends and keeps a log of patrol leaders' council meetings.
- Provides information as requested and needed to the webmaster.
- Records individual Scout attendance and dues payments.
- Records individual Scout advancement progress.
- Works with the Committee member responsible for records and finance.
- Sets a good example.
- Enthusiastically and correctly wears the Scout uniform.

Job Description:
The Librarian oversees the care and use of troop books,
pamphlets, magazines, audiovisuals, and merit badge counselor lists.
Responsibilities:
- Sets up and takes care of a troop library.
- Keeps records of books and pamphlets owned by the troop.
- Adds new or replacement items as needed.
- Keeps books and pamphlets available for borrowing.
- Keeps a system for checking books and pamphlets in and out, and follows up
on late returns.
